Cachan is located in Zone 3 in the southern part of Île-de-France. To get to the ENS Cachan:
BY SUBWAY you need to take the express subway RER line B and get down at "Bagneux" station.

To get to the "Bagneux" station:
- from Paris centre take RER B destination Robinson/Saint–Rémy–lès–Chevreuse at Gare du Nord (20 min.), Châtelet-Les Halles (17 min.), St. Michel/Notre Dame (15 min.) or Denfert–Rocherau (9 min.);
- from Charles de Gaulle Airport take RER B destination Robinson/Saint–Rémy–lès–Chevreuse (60 min.);
- from Orly Airport take shuttle bus and RER B destination Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV at Antony (30 to 45 min. altogeter).
BY BUS take one of the following lines:
- Line 184 from Porte d'Italie - direction L'Haÿ-les-Roses; get down at "Camille Desmoulins" station (at the gate of the campus);
- Line 187 from Porte d'Orléans - direction Fresnes: get down at "Camille Desmoulins" station (at the gate of the campus);
- Line 197 from Porte d'Orléans - direction Bourg-la-Reine; get down at RER "Bagneux" station (then walk 10 min.);
- Line 162 from Villejuif - direction Cachan - Meudon; get down at "Mairie de Cachan" station (then walk 10 min.).
To travel with Metro and RER you need to buy the "Île-de-France"-type ticket which is 12.20€ from CDG Airport and 2.75€ from Paris (full fare).

BY CAR take A6 motorway. From the A6 motorway, take the A6b then leave it at Fresnes. Follow the mainroad RN186 to the Croix de Berny in Antony. Take the mainroad RN20 by turning right in the direction of Bagneux. On this RN20 (avenue Aristide Briand), take the direction of Cachan (on the right when you come from Paris).
